Hurricane Wilma did major damage on in our area, considering it was fairly weak by the time it got here, Category 1 to 2 strengthening to 3 as it got back out over the Atlantic. We had no electricity for 13 days. Our house faired OK (roof had to be re-shingled but no interior leaks) and some other minor damage, but we had 80+ trees down which cost a fortune to remove, and our fences were damaged and our barn obliterated. The other two neighbors on our street were less fortunate, and had interior water damage.
